David Haig (Andrew Merron)
David Haig has starred in a stunning array of the very best of British Television and Theatre. He has won an Olivier award for his performance in ‘Our Country’s Good’ and been nominated on two further occasions. Most recently he was pitted against Peter Capaldi and, his radio wife in this series, Rebecca Front in the most recent series of ‘The Thick Of It’ and took on the iconic role of Jim Hacker in the hugely successful stage adaptation of ‘Yes Prime Minister’. In film perhaps his most memorable performance was as the hilarious amorous groom, Bernard in ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. He is currently playing the title role in The Madness of King George at the Theatre Royale Bath.
Rebecca Front (Denise Merron)
Rebecca Front has recently appeared in ‘Horrid Henry The Movie’, where she had to act in 3D, rather than her customary 1D. She is currently filming a new series of ‘Lewis’ for ITV 1 and ‘Grandma's House’ for BBC2. ‘The Thick of It’, in which she plays Nicola Murray and for which she won a BAFTA, is set to return next year.
Jack Docherty (Rab)
Jack Docherty, comedy actor, writer and producer, most recently helmed two series of ‘The Old Guys’ for BBC 1. As an actor Jack was most recently re-united with former ‘Absolutely’ team member Gordon Kennedy performing in the hugely successful ‘Modrin, 21st Century Wizard’ for BBC Radio 4. They thought it might be a good idea to do some more radio. Thankfully they had the incriminating photos that meant Carl got to it right away.

Multi tasking Gordon has most recently appeared on TV in Skins, Taggart and Sherlock in the UK and Red Faction Dawn and Combat Hospital in the US. He has produced four series of ‘Baggage’ for Radio 4, ‘Your Only Man’ for Radio 3, and the recent Radio 4 hit comedy drama ‘The Gobetweenies’ which will return for a second series next year.
Carl Gorham (Creator, Writer and Director)
Carl is the creator of “Stressed Eric”, the cult BBC2 adult animation series that won numerous awards and was the first animation to be shown in primetime on NBC in the USA for 30 years. He was also nominated for a Bafta for his work on the children’s animation series “Meg and Mog” for ITV and is a British Comedy Award nominee. Most recently he has written a new comedy drama, “Martin” for Absolutely and Baby Cow Productions with Christopher Ecclestone in the lead.
