Absolutely at BBC Audio Awards

Sketchorama Absolutely Special wins BBC Audio Drama Award

The Absolutely team of Morwenna Banks, Pete Baikie, Moray Hunter, Gordon Kennedy and John Sparkes won The BBC Audio Drama Award for Best Scripted Comedy (Live Audience) at last night’s ceremony hosted by Lenny Henry. Congratulations to The Comedy Unit, Producer Gus Beattie, and the Absolutely team for this fantastic achievement.

The show will now be repeated on Radio 4 on Monday 10th February at 11pm.

Congratulations also to Annie Caulfield on her Tinniswood Award nomination for best drama script ‘Dusty Won’t Play’.

on the back of that success will we be hearing a rerun of the Bodgers radio show so people can get a flavour of how it all was some 30 years ago? btw where was Sparkes??
